In some cases, when replacing the screen or forcing the iPhone X glass with Face ID error, when entering the Face ID settings, the camera moves up and down, away. There are also cases where the device fails due to water or impact. Face ID is composed of Infrared Camera, Flood illuminator and Dot Projector, if one of these three parts fails, it will cause an error.

In case Face ID fails due to infrared Camera, Flood illuminator can fix it. If the Face ID error is caused by the Dot Projector, only Apple can fix this error, we cannot fix it.
